A full consultation lasting 1 hour including a full assessment and a treatment if appropriate.
At your initial consultation we will take a full medical history to help us understand you, your complaint, and your lifestyle, and to guide our subsequent examination into your presenting complaint. The examination is a thorough assessment of your physical condition to determine the nature of your complaint and evaluate any aggravating or alleviating factors. Following examination, if appropriate, we will start the process of identifying and correcting the presenting neurotags. The process is thorough and interactive to help us understand your body function and the nature of your complaint so as to guide your treatment or referral.
Each follow up treatment visit is designed to identify and clear active neurotags that are present on that day. This can involve a full body assessment of joint motion, muscle strength, and reflexes. Over subsequent visits we work through the clusters of neurotags that are causing your musculoskeletal dysfunctions, aches and pains. The NIP technique very gently and effectively resets the nervous system, restoring normal body function.
I have been struggling to walk without a limp and to tackle stairs following a full thickness tear of my patellar ligament in 2017 which was reconstructed nearly a year later. Despite another eighteen months of physiotherapy I had reached a point where it seemed I would have to live with this minor disability. Simeon was recommended by a friend but I was skeptical as to what he could do for me. My skepticism was entirely unfounded and after the first session, with very specific follow-up exercises, the improvement was marked and I have continued to show significant progress after my second appointment. Thank you Simeon, your breath of knowledge of how the human body works is amazing and I look forward to being able to walk properly again soon, with your expert help.
Simeon gave me a great introduction to foundation training and helped me apply exercises that helped with areas I’m struggling in with my dressage training. Simeon has a great amount of enthusiasm and knowledge in foundation training and applying it to not only help with usual problems like soreness in my upper back and shoulders but it also massively helped with my core strength and flexibility in my riding. I would thoroughly recommend!
Whilst attending a course at Higher Bickington Community Centre, Simeon came to my aid. I was in agony from what I believed to be a hip issue. Simeon could not have been more accommodating or professional. He asked very pertinent questions and after careful diagnostic movements, accurately diagnosed my issue and then explained in layman’s terms what was going on. Remedial exercises both demonstrated and tried out to ensure I was applying the correct stretch. Straight away I felt easing/relief of pain. My advice, if you think you have hip issues or any kind of muscular pain issues, go and see Simeon. I have avoided the doctors and needlessly using painkillers. Can’t thank you enough Simeon.
Welcome to my website, I’m Simeon Gray, a Doctor of Chiropractic, and professionally I specialise in functional neurology with a focus on neuromusculoskeletal health. Since graduating as a Chiropractor in 2016 I have devoted my time to mastering the art of identifying and correcting toxic neurotags in the brain. Neurotags are significant precursors to injury and developmental delay, limiting ultimate human performance.
Recreationally I enjoy training and competing in beach volleyball on the UK Beach Tour and maintaining my Surf Lifeguard qualification with Saunton Sands Surf Lifesaving Club.
The technique that I use to assess for neurotags is called NeuroImpulse Protocol (NIP), developed by the author, educator and Chiropractor Dr Neil Davies from Australia. NIP is a unique neurological examination protocol that very precisely assesses for active neurotags that are restricting the neuromusculoskeletal system. I have found this technique to be the most efficient, effective and thorough hands-on therapy available today, at the forefront of functional neuroscience. NIP is highly specific, reproducible, and reliable with significant demonstrable changes before and after each correction made.

Neuromusculoskeletal health is the science of neural (brain) health as it relates to the function of the musculoskeletal system. The brain, or nervous system, controls every aspect of posture and tone throughout every joint complex in the human body. But when the brain gets overloaded by stress (physically, chemically, or mentally) its control over these joint complexes becomes dysfunctional. These dysfunctional signals are the expression of the overloaded circuits of neurons (brain cells) in your brain called
“Neurotags.” I analyse the nervous system using NIP to identify and dissemble the active neurotags in your brain that are causing pain and dysfunction in your body.
Developing a good routine that involves getting good REM sleep, regular scaled exercise, stopping smoking, avoiding drinking alcohol late into the evening, and finding peace in your life are a few of the most important strategies to building resilience and reducing the potential of triggering neurotags.
To compliment my work I use a postural isometrics exercise therapy called Foundation Training developed by Chiropractor Dr Eric Goodman from California. The technique focuses on the integration of muscle chains (Anatomy Trains by Thomas Myers) throughout the body, to decompress the joints by restoring musculoskeletal integrity.
